Strend Pro Premium rope is made of polypropylene and is suitable for everyday, general use on construction sites, in the garden or in agriculture. Since they do not absorb water, they can also be used in maritime transport – on any boat or yacht. The rope is strong and durable, resistant to wear and weather conditions, and easy to handle. It can be used as a tow, pulling or auxiliary rope. Its length is 100 m, diameter is 8 mm and load capacity is 1184 kg.
The diameter of our ropes is measured according to European standard EN 2307, which sets out the exact measurement procedure. However, it is important to know that the resulting rope diameter may have a certain tolerance. This deviation depends on the rope construction (e.g. braid type, number of strands) and the material from which the rope is made. Special attention should be paid to ropes made of natural fibres, such as jute or sisal. In these ropes, the diameter may vary between production batches, as natural yarns have inherent differences in thickness, elasticity and absorbency. These deviations are not defects but a common characteristic of natural materials.
Indicative diameter tolerance of ropes
Note: For natural ropes, the tolerance may be higher due to the influence of moisture, storage and natural fibre variability.
When selecting a rope, we recommend taking this tolerance into account, especially if the rope diameter is critical for its use (e.g. in combination with fittings, pulleys or other technical elements).
