Strend Pro Premium rope is made of polypropylene and is suitable for everyday, regular use on construction sites, in the garden or in agriculture. Since it does not absorb water, it can also be used in marine transport – on any boat or yacht. The rope is strong and durable, resists wear and weather conditions, and is easy to handle. It can be used as a trailer, towing and auxiliary rope. Its length is 30 m, diameter is 4 mm and load capacity is 388 kg.
The diameter of our ropes is measured according to European standard EN 2307, which sets a precise measurement procedure. However, it is important to know that the resulting rope diameter may have a certain tolerance. This deviation depends on the rope construction (e.g. braid type, number of strands) and the material from which the rope is made. Special attention should be paid to ropes made of natural fibres, such as jute or sisal. For these ropes, the diameter may vary between production batches, as natural yarns have natural differences in thickness, elasticity and absorbency. These deviations are not defects, but a common property of natural materials.
Indicative diameter tolerance of ropes
Note: For natural ropes, the tolerance may be higher due to the influence of moisture, storage and natural variability of fibres.
When selecting a rope, we recommend taking this tolerance into account, especially if the rope diameter is critical for its use (e.g. in combination with fittings, pulleys or other technical elements).
