The Strend Pro SGS 98C transformer soldering gun is a hobby tool for home use. It is designed for creating soldered joints using tin solder, joining plastics, or burning into wood or leather. When first heating the soldering tip, it is necessary to tin it immediately, otherwise its surface will be damaged by oxidation, which will cause poor adhesion of the tin solder.
The soldering gun has compact dimensions and low weight. It is equipped with a practical LED light and a rubberized handle for a better grip. The soldering tip heats up to 230°C in 6 to 8 seconds.
