The Strend Pro SGS 700 transformer soldering gun is a hobby tool for home use. It is designed for creating soldered joints using tin solder, joining plastics, or burning into wood or leather. When the soldering tip is first heated, it must be tinned immediately, otherwise its surface will be damaged by oxidation, causing poor adhesion of the tin solder.
The soldering gun features compact dimensions and low weight. It is equipped with practical LED lighting and a rubberized grip for better handling. The temperature can be adjusted as needed according to the task (plastic joining/cutting 70 – 200°C, soft soldering 200 – 350°C, burning symbols into wood and soft soldering 350 – 500°C). The soldering gun and accessories are supplied together in a practical carry case.
