The Strend Pro SGS 700 transformer soldering gun is a hobby tool for home use. It is designed for creating soldered joints using tin solder, joining plastics, or burning into wood or leather. When heating the soldering tip for the first time, it must be tinned immediately; otherwise, oxidation will damage its surface, causing poor adhesion of the tin solder.
The soldering gun features compact dimensions and low weight. It is equipped with a practical LED light and a rubberised grip for better handling. The temperature can be adjusted as needed according to the task being performed (plastic joining/cutting 70 – 200° C, soft soldering 200 – 350° C, burning symbols into wood and soft soldering 350 – 500° C). The soldering gun and accessories are supplied together in a practical carrying case.
