The STREND PRO DIME 80M laser distance meter is designed for measuring distances, ranges, heights, offsets, slopes, and calculating areas and volumes. If measurements are taken under adverse conditions, such as bright sunlight, measuring rough or poorly reflecting surfaces, excessively high or low ambient temperatures, measurement deviations may occur. The laser meter provides a measuring range of 0.05m ~ 80m, a resolution of 1 mm, and an accuracy of ± 1.5 mm. The meter automatically shuts off after 180 seconds, and the laser also shuts off automatically after 20 seconds.

The meter has a number of practical functions. Using the laser meter, it is possible to measure distance, area, volume, continuous measurement, indirect height measurement (Pythagorean theorem), addition and subtraction of values, changing measurement units m" (meter) / "ft" (foot) / "in" (inch), slope measurement (digital level), and much more. The value, or the final result of a completed measurement, is automatically saved. A maximum of 99 values (measured values or final results) can be recalled from memory. In continuous measurement mode, the measuring instrument can move relatively to the target, with the measured value updating every 0.5 s.

The laser emits radiation classified as Class II according to EN 60825-1. Laser radiation can cause serious eye injury and vision damage. Therefore, it is not advisable to direct the laser beam at people or animals, nor to look into the direct or reflected laser beam.
