The suspension safety hook 3062 serves to additionally secure the upper support part of a single-section ladder by hooking it to prevent separation from the support. It is designed for side rails with a width of 71.5 or 73 mm and is mounted with screws according to the assembly instructions. It may only be used on a single-section ladder whose lower part rests on a solid floor; it is not permitted to climb a freely suspended ladder. If the ladder serves as access to a higher level, the hooks are fixed 1.1 m vertically from its upper end.
