The tree irrigation bag can be used to soften hard soils before digging. One irrigation bag is suitable for trees with a diameter of up to 17 cm. For trees with a diameter of up to 40 cm, 2 irrigation bags need to be joined together. The volume of the irrigation bag is 55 litres.
Water flows to the tree roots through micro-perforation holes located along the bottom seal. The irrigation bag empties completely within 5-7 hours. Installation takes no more than 5 minutes. Drip-style irrigation ensures water penetrates deep to the tree roots. Water is retained in the irrigation bag as it prevents leakage and evaporation. Continuous moisture supply minimises the risk of frost damage and reduces the harmful effects of temperature changes.
