Do you have a well in your garden and need a new pump? The best way to secure it is with a rope floating on water, made from high-strength polypropylene material with declared health safety – OEKO-TEX® Certificate. This rope is also suitable for water sports such as skiing or wakeboarding. The rope has very good strength and low slip in hand. Rope length is 100 m, diameter is 3 mm and load capacity is 255 kg
The diameter of our ropes is measured according to European standard EN 2307, which sets the exact measurement procedure. However, it is important to know that the resulting rope diameter may have a certain tolerance. This deviation depends on the rope construction (e.g. braid type, number of strands) and the material from which the rope is made. Special attention is deserved by ropes made of natural fibres such as jute or sisal. For these ropes, the diameter may vary between production batches, as natural yarns have natural differences in thickness, elasticity and absorbency. These deviations are not defects, but a common property of natural materials.
Indicative diameter tolerance of ropes
Note: For natural ropes, tolerance may be higher due to the influence of moisture, storage and natural fibre variability.
When selecting a rope, we recommend taking this tolerance into account, especially if the rope diameter is critical for its use (e.g. in combination with fittings, pulleys or other technical elements).
