The Strend Pro Premium textile braided rope has wide applications in agriculture, households, and industry. The rope is also used in construction and logistics, as equipment for climbers, or as an automotive winch rope. The rope has a core and is interwoven with polypropylene fibres. Its length is 100 m, diameter is 8 mm, and load capacity is 1122 kg.
The diameter of our ropes is measured according to the European standard EN 2307, which sets a precise measurement procedure. However, it is important to know that the resulting rope diameter may have a certain tolerance. This deviation depends on the rope construction (e.g. braid type, number of strands) and the material from which the rope is made. Special attention should be paid to ropes made from natural fibres, such as jute or sisal. For these ropes, the diameter may vary between production batches, as natural yarns have inherent differences in thickness, elasticity, and absorbency. These deviations are not defects, but a common property of natural materials.
Indicative diameter tolerance of ropes
Note: For natural ropes, the tolerance may be higher due to the influence of moisture, storage, and natural fibre variability.
When selecting a rope, we recommend taking this tolerance into account, especially if the rope diameter is critical for its use (e.g. in combination with fittings, pulleys, or other technical elements).
