The KAPRO® 389 detector is designed for locating live wires, metal, threaded screws, and wood in drywall and other materials. The multi-scanner features electronic sensors, automatic scanning, audible alert, and an easy-to-read backlit display for precise location determination. For metal objects, the detector senses to a depth of 60 mm, for live AC wires up to 50 mm, for wood and studs and metal pipes up to 30 mm, for copper pipes it senses up to a depth of 30 mm.It is powered by a 9V battery, which is not included in the package.
