The STREND PRO DIME 80M laser distance meter is designed for measuring distances, heights, offsets, slopes, and calculating areas and volumes. Measurement deviations may occur when measurements are taken under unfavorable conditions, such as bright sunlight, measuring rough or poorly reflective surfaces, or at excessively high or low ambient temperatures. The laser meter offers a measuring range of 0.05m ~ 80m, a resolution of 1mm, and an accuracy of ±1.5mm. The meter automatically shuts off after 180 seconds, and the laser automatically shuts off after 20 seconds.

The meter features numerous practical functions. The laser distance meter can be used for distance measurement, area measurement, volume measurement, continuous measurement, indirect height measurement (Pythagorean theorem), addition and subtraction of values, changing the measuring unit "m" (meter) / "ft" (foot) / "in" (inch), slope measurement (digital spirit level), and much more. The value or final result of a completed measurement is automatically saved. A maximum of 99 values (measured values or final results) can be recalled from memory. In continuous measurement mode, the measuring instrument can move relatively to the target, with the measured value updating every 0.5 s.

The laser emits radiation classified as Class II according to EN 60825-1. Laser radiation can cause serious eye injuries and vision damage. Therefore, it is not advisable to point the laser beam at people or animals, nor to look into the direct or reflected laser beam.
