TATRAPET Terrarium Coconut Fibre Substrate 600 g is a natural substrate made from compressed, crushed coconut material (coco coir). Once moistened, it forms a light, airy base that helps maintain suitable humidity in the terrarium and creates a natural environment for various terrarium animals.
Used on its own, it is particularly suitable as bedding for spiders, beetles and other invertebrates. For reptiles, it can be combined with other substrates, such as sand or bark, depending on the needs of the species. For arboreal species, it can also serve as a base layer covered with a decorative substrate.
Coconut fibre is a 100 % natural material with no chemical additives. It retains moisture well, has thermal insulation properties and is biodegradable and suitable for composting after use.
